A one of a kind pair of handmade 9K yellow gold mid century modernist men's cuff links circa 1970.
These unique cufflinks are an original vintage pair made in South Africa in the 1970s. They have an iconic retro design which is sophisticated and timeless.
I adore the chevron textured pattern on these cufflinks because it is so masculine. They are my favorite pair of gold mens cuff links from the collection.
Together they weigh 10.71 grams.
Each of the chevron design solid gold cufflink faces measures 13/16" long by 5/8" wide (20.0mm x 15.5mm). They are a perfect size on a french cuff shirt.
The cufflink fittings are clearly marked for 9K yellow gold.
The pair are in excellent condition ready to wear. They were originally given as an expensive gift possibly a wedding anniversary or important birthday which can be seen from the engraving on the reverse which reads "T.T.M." "24.3.74". A jeweler can easily polish this engraved message out – just let us know if you would like to us to have this done prior to shipping. We have left the engraved message there as many of our customers enjoy the history of the pieces we sell.
