A fine carved jadeite plaque which has been later mounted in a 14K gold and diamond bezel. The jade is carved with two figures, one on horseback and surrounding flowers. The gold tests 14K and there are ten prong set diamonds, approximately .80 carats. The jade measures 2 5/8" wide and 2 1/2" high. The pendant (without jump ring) measures 3 1/2" high by 3 1/4" in width. The piece weighs 56.4 grams and the jade is 3.5 mm in width. The jade dates c. 1900, the gold and diamond frame dates from the 1960s. Condition is excellent. Circa: 1900. Dimensions: Pendant Height: 3 1/2", Width: 3 1/4", Weight: 56.4 grams.
