A fine retro period sterling silver hand crafted cuff bangle from Mexico.

This lovely cuff is hand made using the time consuming repousse technique. This involves hand shaping sheets of fine silver by hammering them from behind to create a three dimensional shape. It is a difficult technique to perform.

It is modernist in design and the curved repousse design is exceptionally sensual and very fluid. The curves of the bracelet play with the light beautifully.

This fine cuff is hand made. On the reverse it is marked HECHO EN MEXICO TG-154 925.

Measuring 2 1/16" in height it sits quite wide on the wrist. The internal circumference of the bracelet is 6 3/16". A jeweler can easily adjust the circumference to any wrist size required if desired.

This exceptional hand crafted vintage cuff bangle in precious sterling silver would make a beautiful acquisition to any collection of fine modernist jewelry.

•• About the Artist: Errol has been producing and selling his leather artwork in many forms since 1973. That's over 40 years for the mathematically challenged! The straps are made from 8-9 ounce vegetable tanned cowhide. All designs are his originals.

• Hand cut, tooled, sculpted, dyed, antiqued and waxed. No machinery was used in the production of this article. Constructed with 8-9 ounce vegetable tanned cowhide. Available in personalized length and three widths: 3", 2.5" & 2". Standard length is 52" end to end. Longer straps require slight price adjustment, 2% per inch. (See below for specific sizing info).

• The tooling is deep so that the designs will not deteriorate, flatten or disappear over time as shallow tooling or machine pressed belt designs usually do.
