A beautiful vintage part tea set of a substantial size, 40pcs, this is a Crown Staffordshire tea set.

Very pretty floral fine bone China, pattern is: Dresden Spray, decaled polychrome floral sprays, gilt rim, made in England c1930's, it has the green backstamp for 1930+ registration mark: No. 646543 first registered in the Victorian era dates the set to the 30's.

This would make a lovely afternoon tea set, very collectable and well made with a traditional English chintz style.

The set comprises of 40pcs as follows:
7 x teacups – 2.2" height / 4" width
1 x milk jug – 3.5" height / 4.5" width
1x sugar bowl – 2.5" height / 4.5" diameter at the top
1 x shallow square dish – 4" x 4" / 1" height
1 x egg cup and stand / egg cup 2" height / 2" diameter at the top / stand 3.5" diameter and 0.5" height
8 x saucers – 5" diameter / 0.5" height
1 x hors d'oeuvres dish – 6.5" width / 1" height / 4" length
8 x scallop edged cake plates – 5.5" diameter / 0.5" height
5 x round cake plates – 6" diameter / 0.5" height
6 x sandwich plates – (2 smaller and 4 larger) small 7.5" diameter / large 8" diameter both 0.5" height
1 x serving platter – 10" width / 8.5" length / 0.5" height

Condition:
*There are a few minor scratches on
some pieces of the floral decal
*Some age related loss of gilding
*One teacup has a hairline crack inside
(see photos)
*Small chip to the rim of the milk jug
*Small chip on one of the scalloped
cake plates
* There may be further small age
related defects but nothing major

Overall for its age and delicacy this set is in excellent condition.

A very beautiful early Victorian turned ebony and bronze wax seal or desk seal.

The handle is made from attractive turned and high polished which is set into a weighty and solid bronze base which has been engraved with an elaborate letter K.

It is in excellent condition and came to us as part of a wide collection of wax seals, some of the original remnants of red wax can be seen on the seal.

Approx 3" height and 4" circumference at the top, the seal base itself is approximately 0.5" width.

This incredibly detailed piece with repousse mask feet and details that feature the comedy / tragedy opera faces and scrolling foliate in relief, the candlesticks have a central drip plate and unscrew for cleaning.

The inkwell has the same repousse design and the continued comedy / tragedy masks, it is in excellent condition with no real signs of use, the inner is still clear and golden.

It is an incredibly grand piece that comes in the original case which is lined in a red velour and has a front brass catch.

Overall it is in fantastic antique condition with little sign of wear, it dates from the early Victorian period Circa 1840's.

A fine pair of 14K gold jet mourning earrings from the Georgian period. The earrings have Pierced posts for pierced earrings, probably have been converted at some time. There is a piece of crystal with hair underneath. The earrings are both engraved on the back, L. Valentine Aug. 17, 1828.AE.36. The earrings test 14K but are not marked. Condition is very good.
