These classy original Art Deco cufflinks are in perfect condition. They are an early art deco pair circa 1920. Each side of the cufflinks is hand engraved with timeless designs. They are a double sided pair which both sides displaying classic hand engraved designs. They are completely timeless in design. The quality is exceptional.
All the gold plated accents are only on the face of both sides of the cufflinks the rest of the hand made cufflinks being silver.

They are each clearly marked for 835 fine silver on the hand made cuff link fittings and 585 for the gold plated finish.

Inside a sparkly diamond halo is an astonishing loupe clean fine dark pidgeon blood red pear cut ruby. This is an earth mined gem of the finest quality.
These days because there is so much glass filled ruby and beryllium treated sapphire on the market often people are unaware of how extremely rare large gem quality rubies such as this amazing stone are. In recent times the prices for these gems have soared because of demand from the Chinese market and the dwindling supply of fine ruby as no new deposits have been found.
In total the astonishing fiery vivid blood red fine gem ruby weighs 1.02 carats.
There are 0.22 carats of VS clarity F color perfect white round brilliant cut sparkly accent diamonds.

To mention for accuracy only is that when the large ruby was originally cut there was a crystal inclusion on the pavilion which has resulted in a microscopically small divet to the pavilion this can be seen at 20 plus times magnification of the pavilion. It does not affect the value of this gem nor is it eye visible although we have priced accordingly.
