Black Beaded Cocktail dress short formal eveningwear. This dress is drop dead gorgeous and sexy. It is a classic black beaded cocktail dress for special occasions, holidays or just a sexy night out. The dress is dripping in beads from top to bottom and on the front and the back. The designer was Carmen Marc Valvo.

Size – 0 to small 2 – The size is missing so I don't know for sure

The dress is fully lined and has padding in the bust area with lining under and over. The dress is halter style and backless so no bra can be worn.

THERE ARE NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON ON THIS DRESS!

It is pre-worn and vintage. There could be broken beads in places and there could be other flaws/damage.

The price was I believe $450 in 1980. Carmen Marc Volvo, the dress designer was carried in Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue and Nieman Marcus. This cocktail dress is well made and beautifully designed and fitted.

Cocktail Dress Gold metallic stretchy fabric spaghetti straps knee length dress simple classic dress straight style leather look size 0

This dress is from 1980. Depending on who you are and what your lifestyle is I suppose you could wear this dress for all occasions, however I am classifying it as an evening dress, dinner dress or cocktail dress. The material looks like perforated low lustre gold metallic leather. It has some stretch to it. It is open weave and unlined. There is no hem, the material just ends. There is an attached half slip underneath which doesn't go to the bottom of the dress. I have a good picture of this with daylight behind it above. It is a simple pretty straight style. If you fill it out then I would consider it figure hugging with a small slit on both sides at the bottom. The dress is knee length on someone around 5' 4". The first picture shows one of the slits on one side. I would probably recommend wearing spanx under the dress if it is daytime. At night just go for it. Your boyfriend or husband will love this dress as it is very sexy yet classy and classic. The color is skin flattering to almost anyone and if you have darker skin or a suntan it is equally flattering.

MEASUREMENTS FOR THE DRESS:

The straps are 10" each from front to back of the dress.

Only 15" from under arm seam to under arm seam on front side of dress.

It is 14" across the bust area from seam to seam on the front of dress.

It is 13" around the waist area across the front from seam to seam.

16" across the hip area.

The front center of the dress to the bottom of the dress is 32"

The bottom of the dress is the widest part at 19" across the front from seam to seam.

The measurements across the back are the same as the front.

The dress has some stretch to it but don't depend on that. Use the actual measurements I have given. There is not that much stretch. Only a little.

There are no returns on this dress unless I have grossly misrepresented the dress. You must look at the measurements I have included above and make sure the dress will fit you. There is nothing wrong with the dress at all however I am selling it "as is" because it has been pre-owned and worn 3 times.

The dress has been stored hanging in a closet for 30 years.

Size 0 – Please check out all the measurements shown. This dress is for a very thin petite girl or woman. The tag says S but it is not a normal small. It is smaller that is why the measurements are so important to check against your own.

There is silver metallic in the painting in various places along with browns, grays and cream beiges. It is primitive, tribal, classic, contemporary and raw. The colors are neutral and will compliment any decor!

The metallic silver in some places has reflected to sort of look white!
