These journals are made from 6-7, 7-8, 8-9 or 9-10 ounce vegetable tanned cowhide depending on the size of the journal. See below for size details. All designs are Errol's originals.

• All items are hand cut, tooled, sculpted, dyed, antiqued and waxed. No machinery was used in the production of this article. All styles are available in all three sizes.

• The tooling is deep so that the designs will not deteriorate, flatten or disappear over time as shallow tooling or machine pressed designs usually do.

•• All edges are beveled to eliminate any sharp edges.

• SHIPPING TO NORTH AMERICA: Orders being shipped to all locations in North America are shipped via fully insured USPS 2-3 Day Priority Mail unless purchaser specifies otherwise. Most of the packages are delivered in two days depending on location. USPS will notify you once the package has been shipped and will include the eta and the tracking number.

A lovely Victorian solid brass desk clip or paper clip in the traditional form of a hand.

It is solid and heavy and would make a very grand piece of desk decor, large enough to hold a decent sized pile of papers / receipts / letters etc.

It has a criss cross lattice effect on the bottom and the original clip mechanism.

The hand is elegant and there is a flower embellished to the cuff, the golden finish of the brass will fit to many different decor schemes.

It is marked on the underside probably with a reg mark but this has worn significantly.

A fantastic pair of early Victorian bread plates, earthenware likely of Staffordshire origin.

They both have a slightly different structural wavy design with moulded cut out handles decorated with foliate in a deep purple / mauve glaze.

They are further decorated with a lovely wheat border and a central hand painted design of poppies.

The wheat and poppies design are representative in Victorian culture of the month of August and plentiful summer harvests, a time of good eating and good weather.

C1860's they are both numbered on the underside in blue glaze with no. 80.

A fantastic pair to add to your kitchen or dining room, the possibilities are endless.

There are some small chips to the underside handles of one of the plates and a thin hairline but nothing major or structurally weakening.
