A timeless hand crafted necklace in precious sterling silver circa 1980.

Designed with gorgeous hand made repousse fine sterling silver links which mirror each other from the front of the necklace this is a luxurious piece. The links themselves are polished to a mirror like finish which is extremely luxurious.

On the reverse it is clearly marked for precious sterling silver and signed by the maker. It is in excellent condition and weighs approx 113.4 grams.

It measures 18 1/8" long and is 1 3/4" wide at the widest (460mm x45mm). This elegant necklace drapes beautifully and sits lower on the neckline. If desired some links could be removed for a shorter length.

To me the design is reminiscent of gorgeous butterflies.

The beautiful zig zag timeless pattern of fine inlaid green malachite extends the whole way around this beautiful necklace. Each lovely section of hand cut malachite has been inlaid beautifully. The sterling silver itself is polished to a high mirror finish which is extremely luxurious. Even the box clasp which has also been hand made is hidden inside a link of the collar.

This carefully thought out and beautifully made designer collar sits elegantly on the neck as it has been tapered the whole way around.

In total it weighs 147.2 grams.

It is in gorgeous condition. There is no damage. To mention is that there are some natural inclusions to the malachite which are not eye visible but only visible in sharp oblique lighting conditions with magnification.

A fine and rare Antique Victorian period 14K gold watch brooch with pictorial enamel. The upper bar pin set with a large scenic depicting a reclining woman in a field with flowers by her side. The watch set with a similar oval enamel panel is suspended from an elaborate gold chain. Condition is excellent. It tests 14K but has no marks. The watch is working and keeps time.
