A very pretty antique aesthetic era plate created and designed by S. Hancock, before Hancock and Sons.
It is stamped on the reverse with the 1858+ stamp and the pattern range Wild Flower, I have seen a few different designs of the Wild Flower range and this one is particularly nice.
Very elaborate sprays on the front in polychrome colours in a typical aesthetic style, the plate is slightly gadrooned giving it a lovely scalloped effect.
It has a gilt edging around but much of this has worn away.
There are some age related darkened spots but overall it is in decent condition.
A fantastic piece to add to your country kitchen or dining room, the possibilities are endless, either way a beautifully decorated plate by a renowned Staffordshire Potter, c1880.

A beautiful little antique folk art box, this one is very nicely done.
A detailed hand painted scene of farm land and a windmill in an oval border on the top of the box, the painting is smooth and blends in nicely with the smooth satinwood almost as if it had been inlaid.
The wood itself is very smooth and the grain is absolutely beautiful.
It has tiny brass hinges and the most wonderful little engraved and shaped early brass snap fastener as its closure on ornate little clasps.
Danish made in the early 20th century 1910-15, a real gem of an antique box.
It is in good antique condition some signs of age but nothing major, some small lines
Perfect as a keepsake, trinket or jewellery box.

The silver case is lovely and shiny not marked but tests as at least 925 sterling silver, it has some incredibly detailed scenes in black niello on either side.
The one side features a scene at sea with people on boats, they could be fishing boats and the people are out catching the days fresh catch, the other side features a scene of land and traditional buildings.
The matchbox covers were an idea piece for seamen and fishermen as they kept the matches protected from the elements, this one also has the theme of being out at sea and then back at land.
They were also popular tourist pieces and Islamic and Eastern niello was highly prized for the craftsmanship of the artists.
There is some wear to the sides where the matches are struck but commensurate with age and could be polished, overall in excellent condition.

A lovely large rustic antique stoneware bottle or jug, ironstone salt glazed pot with a funnel neck top and a wider base, it has a short top loop stoneware handle.
It has a transfer print for Parkin Atkin mineral water, Grimsby marketplace, they were in operation during the late Victorian era and throughout, the stoneware pieces were traditionally used in the late Victorian era and they later moved onto glass.
A lovely rustic feel and in relatively good condition for the age, some natural crackling of the glaze but in my opinion this adds to the feel.
A fantastic rustic piece to add to your country kitchen or patio, the possibilities are endless and the traditional transfer advertising gives the piece an added extra chunk of history to it.
The water was delivered to homes much like the milk man brings milk and would have been pulled on large carts with shire horses.
