Style specifics: Abstract motives and geometrical forms are quite typical for the Art Deco period. Art Deco moved away from the soft pastels and organic forms of its style predecessor, Art Nouveau, and embraced influences from many different styles and movements of the early 20th century, including Neoclassical, Constructivism, Cubism, Modernism, and Futurism. Its popularity peaked in Europe during the Roaring Twenties and continued strongly in the United States through the 1930s. Although many design movements have political or philosophical roots or intentions, Art Deco was purely decorative.

A one of a kind hand crafted iconic pendant in fine 835 silver circa 1970.

This amazing pendant is a one of a kind piece which is original to the era. It looks superb from both sides. The front has a hand textured finish on the circles behind the central hemisphere whilst the reverse has a gilt finish to the central section of the piece.

In total it weighs 5.9 grams and it very comfortable to wear.

It measures 3" long and is 2 7/16" wide (76mm x 62mm).

The neckwire itself which is a later addition to the pendant measures 15 1/2" in circumference and can easily be replaced by a classic sterling silver chain of longer length at little cost.

This amazing original pendant is in perfect condition.

It is a versatile piece which can be worn casually to work or out with friends on the weekend.

This super pretty vintage pink sapphire and diamond ring is a real little eye catcher. I just have to look at it on my hand and it makes me smile.

Somewhere between hot lolly pink and ripe raspberry red, it is just such a joyful color. Outside in sunlight the hot pink color shows more and inside the color is more like a rich raspberry red.

The half carat ruby is a genuine natural earth mined stone and measures 5.17mm x 4.21mmx 2.57mm. On either side of the ruby is a sparkling white earth mined diamond. The precious metal is solid 14K gold.
