A popular symbol found in Victorian jewellery is the buckle and this brooch features a particularly decorative buckle with delicate floral engraving across the ribbon style band.

It is enclosed within a thick rimmed circle, made from the popular alternative to gold in the era which was pinchbeck, an alloy created to closely resemble the precious metal but without the price tag.

It has an old C type clasp, pin slightly protruding from the side, good condition for the age, some wear and darker patches and some solder can be seen on the reverse.

It is a fairly large piece at 1" diameter.

A thick and snug beaver lamb coat in dark brown.

This coat has a swing shape to it, it is incredibly thick with a lovely satin lining and internal belt along with lined, concealed pockets.

There are slight variations in colour across the coat depending on the way the fur lies and the light hits it.

It is in good vintage condition, there are no real signs of wear, one if the cuffs is lighter in colour but this seems to be a natural variation.

It is not labelled.
